At Aqua Blue Pediatrics, we adhere to the AAP immunization schedule as our standard of care, ensuring that children receive the necessary vaccinations based on the best scientific evidence and the guidance of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). Families who follow the CDC vaccination guidelines are also welcome in our practice, as we understand that some parents may choose the CDC Childhood and Adolescent Immunization Schedule instead. However, to remain our patients, children must be current on at least the CDC-recommended immunization schedule, unless there is a documented medical contraindication.

We recognize that parents want to make the best decisions regarding their child's health, and we encourage open discussions about children vaccination policy. Our commitment is to provide accurate information, listen to your concerns, and help you make informed choices built on trust and communication.

In cases where families have concerns about vaccines, we are dedicated to providing education and answering questions. We may ask parents to review educational materials and sign documentation for vaccine refusal or delay as recommended by the AAP. In rare situations, if a child is significantly under-immunized and does not meet CDC recommendations, we may need to refer families to another practice that aligns more closely with their vaccination preferences.
